The College of Social Work would like to invite anyone thinking about pursuing a degree in one of the Social Work programs to attend a Virtual Open House or a Face-to-Face Information Session on either the Knoxville or Nashville campus. College faculty, staff, and students will present information about the curriculum, field placements, the admissions process, and financial aid.

Face-to-Face MSSW Information Session: Knoxville

Please join us at our Knoxville MSSW Information Session on Wednesday, November 15th, in 220 Henson Hall (1618 W. Cumberland Ave).

The program will be from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm and will consist of an overview of the MSSW program, various options for pursuing the MSSW, field practice, career options, and the admissions process. A question and answer period will follow.

Parking: Please note that parking in University lots is by permit only. Public parking for a fee is available in the Volunteer Hall parking garage, accessible on White Avenue, just a few blocks from Henson Hall.

Face-to-Face MSSW Information Session: Nashville

Please join us at our Nashville MSSW Information Session on Wednesday, November 8th,.The program will be from 5:45-7:00pm and will consist of an overview of the MSSW program, various options for pursuing the MSSW, field practice, career options, and the admissions process. A question and answer period will follow.

The Nashville Campus is located at 193 Polk Ave, Suite E, Nashville, TN 37210. There is plenty of free parking in front of our building. More Information (PDF flyer).

Online Informational Sessions

The Online Informational Sessions will be conducted live via video conference using a free software called Zoom. (Zoom is the same software that our online programs use for online classes.) You may use a desktop computer with a web cam & microphone, or a mobile device such as a tablet or your cell phone to attend. You'll get the opportunity to hear from, and talk directly to, one of our faculty.

DSW Virtual Open Houses will take place:

  • Wednesday, November 1, 7 PM ET

Students from all academic disciplines are welcome! Full time and part time programs of study are available! Anyone thinking about pursuing a graduate degree is invited to attend!
