Video of Kids with Glenn Weyant and Jane Crowe “The photo project is about empowerment,” Glenn Weyant stated after a music workshop with the photographers in the Growing Tennessee Project. “All of us has an inner artist, an inner musician. Playing found objects allows us to bypass obstacles to expressing that musicianship. It gets to the core of the connections that exist between people and music, between people and art, between people and people, and between peoples and peoples. Of course there is a subtext here. It is a statement that is encouraging political dialogue. The idea is that we can address in this subtle way the issues of boundaries and divisions. Jane and her work puts a human face upon these issues.” Watch this video to see and hear Glenn and the students in action. > View The Video of Glenn Weyant And The Children In Action |
