Biographical Statement

Professor Keiser's practice experience has been working with children, adolescents, and families and she served as an individual, family, and group therapist prior to joining the faculty at UTK. Professor Keiser gained valuable exposure to a variety of therapy modalities and presenting issues as a clinician to include CBT, DBT, and issues related to treating trauma. Professor Keiser thoroughly enjoys mentoring students and supporting the development of the next generation of Social Workers. Professor Keiser serves on the Council for Practice Methods and Specializations for the Council of Social Work Education. Additionally, she is the Middle Tennessee Branch Chair for NASW-TN.
