Coordinator of Field Services, B.S.S.W. Program

Ms. Lodato joined the UT College of Social Work in June 2005 as the B.S.S.W. Coordinator of Field Services. Ms. Lodato's primary responsbility is to match B.S.S.W. student's with desired field placement sites and to coordinate the instruction of the accompanying field seminar course. Additional responsibilities include advising B.S.S.W. students at the college and actively recruiting students from area high schools and community colleges.

Previous work experience includes Community Mental Health - Helen Ross McNabb Center where Ms. Lodato was the Services Coordinator for outpatient services at the Children and Youth Center in Knoxville, Tennessee from July, 2002 to June 2005. Her role included providing individual and family therapy, coordinating case management services, intensive case management and psychiatric services in the medication clinic, providing clinical supervision and administrative functions for the Integrative Service Team, Intensive Alcohol and Drug (A&D) Outpatient program, an intensive In-Home A&D program and Mobile A&D assessment program.

Prior to moving to Tennessee, Ms.Lodato worked in the following capacities: School Social Worker for the Montville Board of Education in Montville, New Jersey providing psycho-social assessments, individual counseling and social skills; Individual and Family Therapist in Private Practice as well as at Morristown Memorial Hospital - Juvenile Evaluation and Treatment Services in Morristown, New Jersey; Mental Health Professional in the Crisis Intervention and Emergency Psychiatric Services also at Morristown Memorial Hospital, New Jersey. Ms. Lodato also has experience as a Probation Officer in the Family and Criminal Divisions in Morris County New Jersey where she was employed from 1991-1998.
