Our
faculty are continually performing research in their areas
of interest. Topics of research include (but are not limited
to) aging, children, substance abuse, juvenile justice,
foster care, ethnicity, and health.
In addition, the Children's Mental Health Services Research
Center, a unit of the College, was created with the assistance
of a grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health.
The Center conducts research across the state in the area
of at-risk children.
The
Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS)
is also a unit of the College. Since its inception, the
office has secured more than 40 million dollars in funding
from state, local, and federal grants and contracts to support
training, technical assistance, and research projects. |
