Research Interests

My focus is on improving the quality of care for individuals with mental and physical health problems through integrated health care research.

My dissertation is focused on preparing the workforce for integrated healthcare. This objective is achieved through identifying the required knowledge for behavioral health consultants to practice in integrated settings through a systematic review of current literature and practice survey. These results are being incorporated into a computer application to evaluate the effectiveness of this technology as a tool to develop knowledge in the workforce. My ongoing research will focus on continued work to bridge the gap between research and practice of integrated healthcare. Future studies will evaluate the effectiveness of the computer application in real world settings with ongoing work on evaluating the quality of care in integrated healthcare settings.
