Jennifer Erwin is a doctoral student in the College of Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received her MSW from the University of Georgia in 2013 and her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 2009.
Jennifer spent two years working on an Assertive Community Treatment team and in Development at a community-based behavioral health nonprofit in Washington, D.C. before enrolling at the University of Tennessee.

Jennifer Erwin’s area of interest is forensic social work and adult mental health, primarily in creating and evaluating interventions for adults with severe mental illness who are involved with the criminal justice system.
Jennifer Erwin gave a poster presentation at the National Organization of Forensic Social Work's annual meeting in June, 2016. The poster was on the impact of mental health court on the psychosocial outcomes of participants.
