Brief Statement of Teaching Philosophy
I have adopted a constructivist approach to the dialectical method when teaching. The cornerstone of higher education is the ability to facilitate critical thought. Engaging my class in a comfortable atmosphere of dialectic interaction emphasizes each student as a valuable contribution to a process of collaborative learning, while allowing constructive, humanistic reason serve as the building block for intellectual growth.
