The College of Social Work would like to invite anyone thinking about pursuing a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree or a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) in Clinical Practice and Leadership to attend an Information Session.

The Information Sessions for the MSSW program are held on on both the Knoxville or Nashville campuses. MSSW Information Sessions generally are about 1.5 hours in length and provide information about the curriculum, field placements, the admissions process, and financial aid. The Information Sessions are designed to familiarize prospective students and their families with the educational opportunities that our College has to offer. It will provide an opportunity for you to see the College facilities, ask questions, and learn about the graduate degree programs in social work at the College.

For the Online MSSW and DSW programs, we offer Online Information Sessions. The Online Information Sessions are conducted live via video conference using a free software called Zoom. (Zoom is the same software that our online programs use for online classes.) You may use a desktop computer with a web cam & microphone, or a mobile device such as a tablet or your cell phone to attend. You'll get the opportunity to hear from, and talk directly to, one of our program directors or a member of the faculty.

If you are considering applying for admission to the program, you are urged to attend one of the sessions.

Below you will find information on the sessions currently scheduled. You may also feel free to email us for additional information about upcoming opportunities or talk directly with our recruitment coordinator, Susan Bryant, about any one of our programs. Email Susan at
