Checking McAfee VirusScan version and date of definition files (Windows 2000/XP)

Checking the date of your virus definitions.

You may check the date of your definitions at any time.
1. Right click on the icon that looks like a shield with the letter "V" on it.

2. Click "About VirusScan Enterprise "

3. The window will tell you the version of McAfee you have installed, version number of the virus definitions, and the date on which the definitions were created.
