Coalition of Black Social Workers Wins Student Engagement Award

Each year, the Center for Student Engagement honors student organizations and student leaders who have made a significant impact on the Volunteer community over the last academic year and who embody the Volunteer spirit.

The Coalition of Black Social Workers (CBSW) won the 2021 Outstanding Commitment to Virtual Programming Award. This award honors excellence in creating virtual programming for the University community whether through a program/event or programming series.  The program or programming series must have been held in a totally virtual format whether through Zoom or another online platform.

The 2021 student leaders rose to the challenge to find ways to engage the community even during the pandemic. Congratulations to the organization and its leaders.
