The Dean’s Student Advisory Council is now in full swing. Advisory council members represent their cohort/program and stay in communication with the Dean and the committee. They meet monthly to discuss what is going well at the college, what needs exist, ideas for events, training opportunities, as well as website and social media recommendations.
The members represent each of the College programs: BSSW, BSSW Online, MSSW Knoxville, MSSW Nashville, MSSW Online, DSW, and PhD, in addition to representing each of the student organizations: the Bachelor’s Social Work Organization (BSWO), the Master’s Social Work Organization (MSWO) Knoxville, the Master’s Social Work Organization (MSWO) Nashville, the Coalition of Black Social Workers (CBSW), the Macro Social Work Student Network (MSWSN), and the Phi Alpha Honor Society.
