Amanda is originally from the rural bluegrass of Kentucky, growing up around coal mines, tobacco fields and soy, and is a first generation college graduate. She is a LCSW in the State of Tennessee and has served as a Case Manager in Refugee Resettlement, at a non profit hospital, and most recently with the Department of Veteran Affairs. She has served with multiple non-profit organizations which included travel to Barbados, Ecuador, Honduras, Kenya and North Africa.
