Melody Huslage, MSSW

Brief Bio

Melody Huslage, originally born in Aurora, Colorado, is from an Air Force family. She worked for the U.S. Department of State for 13 years, which included traveling to Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa, and she lived in Pakistan, Iraq, and Greece. While at the University of Texas at Austin, she was a research assistant at the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault and assisted with projects on human trafficking and sexual assault. After graduation, she worked with Child Protective Services and also assisted with project management at the Girls Empowerment Network.
