Dr. Mary Held is the MSSW Program Director at the Nashville Campus of College. She presented at a lunch and learn training sponsored by the Vanderbilt Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody (COE) that is part of a statewide network funded under an agreement with the State of Tennessee to improve the public health by enhancing the quality of services provided to children in or at-risk of entering the Tennessee child welfare or juvenile justice systems. Her presentation, Latino Immigrant Experiences: Trauma and Resilience, allowed her to reflect on her experiences working with Latino immigrant youth.
