Beginning July 1, 2021, a transition will be taking place in Field Education.

Current Director of Field Education Becky Jackson, retiring in July, is leaving the program in wonderful shape, as well as in capable hands. The college thanks Jackson for her years of service and her hard work developing a strong field education program and team.

Kim Crane Mallory has been appointed incoming Director of Field Education. She brings much to this role, with her expertise in field education, her years of experience in the College’s field program, and her outstanding service as Assistant Director. Mallory will work with Jackson on the transitioning process, and will take the role on July 1, 2021.  

Additionally, Kim Denton has been appointed to the role of Associate Director of Field Education. Denton has been an outstanding leader in the BSSW program, helping shape that program and mentoring new field faculty. She will take on her new role as Kim Mallory transitions to Director.
