We want to thank everyone who registered for the March 30th Conference, SW2020: Change Happens Here. So many folks signed up that we reached max capacity of 300+ and had to close the registration link. The college could not have imagined a better reception for our event.

However, given the recent concerns about the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, we made the difficult decision to cancel the conference. Our goal is to reduce risk of exposure and infection. We are encouraging folks to follow recommended practices and protocols including social distancing to avoid the spread of this virus.

GOOD NEWS: We are still planning to host the Ethics Training – complete with CEUs – ONLINE! It is our hope to offer this training offer this training as a webinar. We will keep you all posted as we attempt to make this available.

The College of Social Work is disappointed to miss the opportunity to spend time with you – our alumni, students, staff, faculty, and community partners. But we will plan for future opportunities! Please keep an eye on the college website, e-mail listserv, and social media pages for more events beginning Fall 2020.
