Amber Mitchell-Spencer is the Recruiting Coordinator for the Nashville campus.

What does your job entail?

I travel all over recruiting prospective students for Online and Nashville MSSW programs as well as the DSW program. I am also the advisor for the Online and Nashville student ambassadors.

What is your favorite part of the job?

My favorite part of the job is traveling and meeting new people at conferences and fairs. I am pretty much always out of town.

What do you like best about living and working in the Nashville area?

Something exciting is always going on in Nashville! There is always a concert or event happening. One of my favorites is the Nashville Black Market. A market once a month with only black-owned businesses.

Anything else you would like to add?

I have a miniature schnauzer and I love television. One of my favorite shows is Rupaul’s Drag Race.
