Cassidy Hebert is the Field Administrative Specialist for the Nashville campus and works to help students through their field part of the program. March 2023 marks one year of working at the college and she is shocked by how quickly the year has gone by.

What does your job entail?

I work as the Nashville campus’s Field Administrative Specialist alongside our amazing coordinators to help students through their field part of the program. This entails contract management with agencies, assisting students and field instructors with Intern Placement Tracker, and facilitation of other administrative duties involved in the field portion of a student’s experience. I also help coordinate on campus field events to benefit our awesome students and field instructors.

What is your favorite part of the job?

My favorite part of the job is how well our Field Team works together! In a program where there are so many moving parts, our team just knows how to navigate and pivot where necessary and help out no matter the situation. It’s nice to work with people who genuinely care about one another. I am so thankful to be part of the Field Team family!

What do you like best about living and working in the Nashville area?

I am originally from Louisiana, so I have a deep understanding and appreciation for what tourism does for the city/state. I also love that there is always something to do whether it be a walk through a museum or park, a nice rooftop lunch, or even a hike across the pedestrian bridge to Nissan Stadium to watch the Titans take on my New Orleans Saints. It also never gets old seeing downtown turn almost magical as the sun goes down and the lights shine bright as I end my day at work!
