Brennen is a BSSW student and is President of the Macro Social Work Student Network (MSWSN) at the University of Tennessee. He is very interested in advocacy and policy work, and Macro social work has been an interest of his since he began college. Brennen believes that social work allows him to be a small part of a larger force for change.
A fun fact about Brennen is that he has moved about 12 times throughout his life as a military child. His favorite thing about the University of Tennessee College of Social Work is how supportive the staff and faculty are. He has made a lot of great friends through courses and student organizations. He met many of his friends his freshman year of college and has been able to go through his undergraduate experience with all of them which has been a great experience.
