Emily is a second year MSSW student in the Evidence-based Concentration program. She is a trauma certificate student and is also working towards getting the school social work licence. Emily has a passion for using trauma-informed approaches in clinical practice with all ages. During her time in the program, she has gained experience in working with students of all ages from elementary school to college students. Something that Emily loves about social work is that it focuses on both helping individuals and larger systems to create change. One of Emily’s favorite things about the program is that the professors are all passionate about teaching and supporting the learning of future social workers.
