Nelia is a second year MSSW student in the Evidence-Based Interpersonal
Practice Concentration and in the Forensic Certificate program. She is
from Cape Town, South Africa and is interested in all things social
work with a focus on Forensic Social Work. Her favorite thing about CSW
is the faculty’s supportive nature and willingness to help the
students learn and refine their interests and skills. She is a CSW
Ambassador, and is on the Forensic Social Work Faculty-Student CQI
Committee. She chose the University of Tennessee College of Social Work
because of the forensic certificate and the vast opportunities offered
by the College of Social Work.
