MSSW students Krystal Gourley, Sarah Lewandowski, and Mary Hansen, with Faculty Advisor Christy Hickman worked with the staff at the Highlander Research and Education Center to host the first of a series of weekend training sessions. Students and leaders of local community organizations investigated ways to approach social work from a transformative justice and intersectional perspective and to develop skills for social change.
