Laura Beth Harbin is a senior in the UTCSW Online BSSW Program. She is excited to be near completion but cannot believe the end of her BSSW is almost here. “I think the semester is starting off great so far,” she said. “I can’t help but be so grateful for UT’s Online BSSW program. I brag about the program often. My cohort is amazing, I can truly say I’m friends with each person in my cohort. Not to mention I have felt spoiled with the incredible professors that UT has. They are seriously phenomenal.”

Harbin’s field placement is something that she is enjoying and she gets excited about the time she gets to spend there. “I am currently loving my field placement with the Family Intervention Program with Metro Nashville Police Department,” she explained. “I’m one of their counseling interns and I feel incredibly grateful and humbled to be there.”

When asked what she plans to do after graduation, Harbin was quick to answer. “I plan on attending the MSW interest meeting. I’m so interested in applying for the advanced standing program. I just can’t get enough of this field and this program. Thank you UTCSW for this incredible opportunity!”
